From the perspective of locking, the cash drawer is generally divided into two-stage lock and three-stage lock. The two-stage lock means that the lock has two gears and one gear can lock the cash drawer.
In the other gear, the cash drawer can be popped open by pulse or manually. Open, the two-stage lock cash drawer cannot be opened with a key. Usually the manual cash drawer adopts two-stage lock; the three-stage lock has three gears, two of which are the same as the two of the two-stage locks.
The first gear means that the cash drawer can be opened when the key is turned to this gear. The electronic cash drawer usually uses a three-stage lock.
