From the perspective of locking, the cash drawer is generally divided into two-stage lock and three-stage lock. The two-stage lock means that the lock has two gears and one gear can lock the cash drawer.


From the structural point of view, the cash box is divided into two and three layers. The economical cash box is basically a two-layer cash box with a metal structure on the outside and an integral plastic part (called insert in English, for placing banknotes and coins, etc).


In terms of size, the smallest size of the current cash drawer is 200mm wide, and the largest is generally no more than 460mm wide. The most popular domestic economic two-layer cash drawer is usually about 400mm.
